Rena Sofer

Rena Sherel (born December 2 in 1968), is an American actress. Her roles include daytime TV and guest performances on episodic basis and TV-produced films. Sofer was given a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) The daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who works as a psychologist as well as Martin Sofer, who is an Orthodox Rabbi.





 She moved with her brother David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. When Sofer was 5 years old, they lived in Western Pennsylvania. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school located in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey which was where her father served as Rabbi of the synagogue Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Daytime television



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as a band manager. Her first TV role was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap show about Loving (1988-91).
