Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10 1986) is a former model turned actress from India that mainly played in Hindi films. Ayesha Aziz won Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for the starring role of the title role in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It also marked her debut as an actor. Following that, she was featured in numerous popular movies, including Paathshaala 2010 Wanted and 2009's Salaam-E-Ishq 2007 and Socha Na Tha 2010. The first time she appeared was in an advertisement for the well-known diet drink Complan. The Complan brand's famous commercial, I'm a Complan boy, I'm an Complan girl, alongside Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor. In the song remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin her appeared. The song became a massive success in India at the time of remixes. In the following months, she was receiving invitations to appear in Bollywood film projects. Takia had been scheduled to appear in Socha Na Tha due to delay in production, only made aware of Taarzan after her debut. Ayesha's moral courage was displayed in her attack on her political father-in-law Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party member Abu Azmi for his views on punishing rape survivors. Ayesha declared that she is vegan. This was when she was in a PETA India commercial. The actress was featured in the 2006 listing of the top women of India.
